Jubal said; You tried didn't you, youngster? But that stone was always too heavy … too heavy for anyone.


I love that Rodin sculpture that Jubal has a conversation with.... as I love so many of Rodin's other works of art. I've had The Thinker at home for many years - a gift from Cynthia. And River, while in primary school; made an aluminum and wood copy of it as a gift to-me. These gifts remain some of my most treasured possessions. Art that changes people. If I can leave just a trace behind that touches people the way Rodin has, I will have managed to carry that stone for just a few miles.
